Original artwork description:

I recently read a book by Chinghiz Aitmatov. A poetic novel set in the vast Kazakh steppes. 'The day lasts for more than a hundred years'. There are places in my country where I feel this. The place where my wife was born is the Thrace region of my country. There are fields of wheat, sunflowers and corn stretching to the horizon. In such a place, people realize what a great gift the world is to humanity. They are places that make people feel alive and that life is a gift.
This is how I felt when I was making this painting with acrylic paints. I take photos wherever I go. I made this painting using a photograph I took in Thrace during a summer vacation.
