This popular rock formation near Yelverton old airfield on Dartmoor, has been a popular meeting point for youngsters to climb the rock and families to picnic and have a refreshing ice cream on a hot summers day.
I noticed this stunning sky when out doing a plein-air paint out, and decided it would make a lovely oil painting study.
