✅ THE ART:
Mixed media artwork titled“Sunbeam on a Sunflower”. Feel the warm glow of the sun beaming down on this sunflower on a warm summer day. This mixed media artwork was created based on a photo taken of some sunflowers I grew one summer in my backyard. An experimental art that started off as a watercolor but then developed into something more, finished with touches of acrylic paint in the background and coloured pencil. I gravitate to using very vibrant colors in my art, always pushing the boundaries with color. Each artwork takes me many hours from start to finish to execute the level of detail and show the delicate textures in my work. I used color pencils (wax based) over watercolor on watercolor paper. Whether you're decorating your living room, bedroom , or office space, this sunflower painting will brighten up any wall with its cheerful charm. It also makes a thoughtful and unique gift for special occasions or as a gesture of appreciation.

This piece comes unframed. In order to keep my art in great condition it is important to frame with archival materials (mattes, backing board etc), keep out of direct sunlight, and frame with a UV glass.

This sunflower drawing is unframed. Art is shipped flat or rolled carefully for protection. One-of-a-kind original mixed media artwork handmade (not a print).


✅ MATERIALS:
I used colored pencils (high quality wax-based) over watercolor paint on Strathmore watercolor paper. Gloss Varnish spray was applied over art for protection.

24" W x 18" H (no border, goes to bleed)

Every artwork is meticulously covered with glassine paper, a PH-neutral and archival-quality material, to safeguard against moisture, dust, and environmental elements.
Your art is then carefully sandwiched flat between sturdy boards, guaranteeing it arrives in pristine condition. I place the artwork in a clear sleeve that is acid free, allowing you to admire it while keeping it protected. I believe that receiving art should be akin to unwrapping a cherished gift. That's I take the extra step to gift wrap each piece with care and attention to detail. To further guarantee the safety of your art during transit, I encase the gift-wrapped artwork in saran wrap and finally bubble wrap, providing an additional layer of protection.
