Peebles, High Street in Summer shows a row of shops on a typical Scottish high street, warmed by the sun and simmering in vivid colour. It is one of my favourite places.
The work is rich in realism and detail. Texture has been added to create extra depth. The canvas is 0.5 inches deep and can therefore hang without a frame if wished. A great addition to any collection of London art.
