Welcome to my Reflections Series.
"Reflections" is a new body of work admiring the ripples and reflections of local ponds, admiring the vital role they play in providing aquatic life with rich habitats and biodiversity.
"Reflections Abstracted Overflow" combines the exuberant feel of summer overflow growth - think giant cowslips and climbers net to cooling pops of water.
This piece is layered in rich depths of deep turquoise, greens and with a subtle undertone of raw jade. The brushstrokes are feathery, light, fluid and moving evoking ripples bouncing and dancing light.
