Original artwork description:
Oil on canvas. There are more sheep than people in Wales! This painting of a Ram was inspired after a visit to the sheep shearing contest at the Royal Welsh Show in Builth Wells, Wales in 2019. After the finish klaxon sounded he was left half naked. It amused me so much I painted this. I was drawn to the effects of light on the different textures and materials emerging from the dark background of the barn.
