Made in 2015, It belongs to the Mutatio series, drawings of surreal characters. In this case it is the fusion of some woman's legs with a flower, which comes out as a tail. I have dedicated several drawings to a fusion of parts of the female body with plants or flowers.
The drawings of plants of the series "Planted woman" have their inspiration in the Royal Botanical Expedition of the New Kingdom of Granada that is one of the most important and representative of the American botanical iconography of the XVIII century. It lasted for thirty-four years: 1783-1816, in which it covered some 8,000 km2 of Colombian territory and is a world reference in scientific illustration.
