IT IS NOT A PHOTO
it is a drawing!!
I want to leave a piece of Italy in Your homes
Title: Panorama di Genova Sopraelevata
done on 22: 03: 2018
drawing No. 113
Pencil drawing of my photo at 400 degrees
Bologna saw from Piazza Santo Stefano
Genoa. I couldn't find a glimpse without that horrendous causeway. In the end I used it as a sky.
Looking closer you can see the murals from a few centuries ago as opposed to the current ones: the pillars of the causeway are becoming an open-air museum.
Palazzo San Giorgio 1260 is completely designed, what you see are not bas-reliefs! But murals made in the 1600s.
This is the first drawing in which I put my logo: at the top of the rectangles that I need as a reference to copy the photo.
I love city landscapes with beautiful historical monuments, squares, skyscrapers.
Black and white give a touch of ancient and magic to the design.
The technique is simple: pencil
I use micro mines, otherwise, I would spend time tempering.
The hardness 2b, hb, 2h; I finish the drawing with wooden pencils 4h, 8h to leave very little white and 8b to strengthen the blacks and give the drawing three-dimensionality
I practically do a "very analog" white balance
Graphite
