Original artwork description:

Large acrylic painting on a 3.5 cm thick poplar wood panel.

Story about the painting:

Pilvax is a cult cafe in Budapest. It is considered the main center of the Hungarian revolution against the Austrian Habsburg Monarchy in 1848.
It was a place where the city's ardent artists and intellectuals regularly met to exchange views on life in Hungary under the Habsburg regime.
Hungarians are proud of their history, they carry it in their hearts, which is why the Pilvax cafe is a frequented place. You rarely find as many free seats as I did one early autumn evening. There were only a few people sitting in it and it had a completely different, much calmer and quieter atmosphere than when it is full of people. I had to capture it, so immediately after returning from the walk I started working on this painting.

The painting is intended for everyone who likes to enjoy moments of relaxation with a cup of coffee or a dessert in cafes and pastry shops.
But also for those who want to bring a bit of atmosphere from the street into their interior.

Materials used:

poplar wood panel
