My favorite flowers are peonies.
In traditional Chinese and Japanese art, peonies represent feminine beauty as well as wealth and status. Peonies are of particular importance in China, the homeland of this flower. In this country, the peony is the national flower and symbolizes wealth, power and is often found in traditional painting, silk embroidery, national dress and jewelry.
In this work I combined cold shades of blue with warm gold.

Painted on gallery stretched canvas. The sides are painted in light blue. The canvas is varnished, delivered with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.

To ship the canvas I remove it from the bars and ship it rolled in a tube.
When received you just have to take it to your local framer to get it stretched on the bars again.
