The bright blue palm tree, inspired by the Palm house at Kew Gardens one dull January, transported me to distant climes after the UK's second lockdown due to the pandemic. This was created during a time when I wanted to think of travelling abroad, I completed the painting in an exaggerated palette, which helped my mind to travel when completing it. My hope is it inspires the viewer towards their own inner journey of peace and inner travel.
