Original artwork description:

The Little Ghost is part of Le Moschine, a series of paintings inspired by old American cartoons of the 1920s and 1930s and by lowbrow and surrealist pop painting. He is a white ghost in the dark, split in two, lonely and inconsolable. White on black, the only bright color element is its vermilion red heart.
He is probably the most melancholy character of the series, indeed we could say that if it were a tarot card it would be La Melancholia.
The
painting is on a plywood board, protected with a matte finish varnish and mounted in a gilded wooden frame.

Materials used:

Acrylic and pastels on wood
