In my work I like to portray the real world, especially the human figure. In doing so, I mostly include an event, interaction among people or symbolism in the content. Viewers understand this image in two completely opposite ways: as a leap into the whiteness of another world, the light in a tunnel as it passes into another world, into death, or as a leap over obstacles in our lives. I made this picture with the thought of struggles and leaps in our lives, with positive energy. I have got the idea from an old photo of dancing couple I saw on net and changed it my way, with my idea.
Drawing is on gray paper 180 g per m and protected with Talens fixatief for pastel.
dry pastel, paper 180 g
