This is a street view of one of the roads in a North Indian town called Jammu (Jammu & kashmir )
I grew up there .
This drawing is close to my heart as it evokes memories of galavanting with mates on a late summer evening for long walks while we people watched .Time speeds away but fond memories of those evenings linger .
Those friends are all now spread out in states here in uk and India .
This drawing is done in India ink with Japanese brushes on handmade paper .A first in the series of cityscapes in black ink .
