An impressionistic coast landscape painting inspired by the sea, coastal bays, beaches and islands off the British coastline of Britain. Particularly the Scottish highland Hebridean islands of the west coast of Scotland.
Although could represent other areas of the British Isles such as the Welsh coast or South west English seaside views.
In this atmospheric seascape painting I have tried to convey the dramatic and changeable weather of the rugged United Kingdom coastline.
Painted in an impressionistic style with an atmospheric and moody cloudy sky with warmer magenta and yellow ochre colours in the foreground.
Painted in a contemporary gestural style with a palette knife and fingers.

Painted using quality artists oils on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a gloss varnish finish and white wooden frame with cord ready to hang.

Will require a signature on delivery.
