Yes, the Gulf is turquoise, especially east of the Mississippi which causes it be a little muddy west of the Mississippi. This is one of the tiny keys in Florida. I snapped a photo of it as we drove towards Key West.
I've had this one hidden in my studio for a few years and came across it when I moved.
