Artwork description:

I was inspired by the light passing through the windows creating patterned shadows. It has a stained glass effect with the glowing colours.
I made the plate with photopolymer etching and carborundum which is a gritty substance that collects ink and makes the areas very dark. I printed this with a Hunter-Penrose press on Somerset paper. Each one varies a bit due the plate being hand inked with balls of scrim.
