Gladiolus still life
There is a legend that gladiolus originated from 2 brave and handsome boys. They rose up against all enemies, would rather sacrifice than kill each other. The flower originated from the sword that the two warriors left behind, with a sword-like appearance so it was called an orchid.
In Vietnam, gladiolus is widely used in wedding decoration, Tet holiday, and on the family altar.
