Story about the painting:
"Sometimes I paint in my studio until late in the evening and then walk home through the deserted streets of the city. Stars twinkle overhead in the dark sky, where here and there the light of street lamps pierces the darkness of the sidewalk and road. Some windows on houses and apartments of apartment buildings are dark, others send rays of light into the night city.
The town below with its lights resembles the starry sky above. Galaxies of stars twinkle above, lamplights twinkle like stars below around me...
My city is like one small galaxy in many other galaxies. There is a bit of mysticism and mystery in it, a bit of infinity...
I walk alone surrounded by galaxies from all sides, up close and far away by bright lights.
I'm alone, but I don't feel abandoned. Because I'm here at home..."
