I can't say for sure why. Maybe because I'm impressed by their strength and tenacity with which they can defend themselves against a threat.
Even more than individually, I like it when I combine both of these animals into one sculpture - as in this case.
The wild, merciless fight to the death between the bear and the bull demonstrates their enormous strain of strength, the work of every muscle in their bodies...
The fight seems to be even and whichever of them will win, it will be a Pyrrhic victory..."
