Harder than capturing cyclists and motor-racers ... the beautiful blue flash and sometimes the shrill high-pitched shriek as it flies low along the water's edge from roosting point to roosting point. Sometimes really lucky to catch the dive and the plop as a fish becomes dinner! The magnificent kingfisher, a joy to watch, and hear whilst sitting on the river bank.
