The dominant colors are a deep blue and a warm ochre, which merge or overlap with each other, but still create a contrasting color palette. The artwork is characterized by dynamic brushstrokes that run in different directions. The incorporated "abstract letters", which extend over large parts of the canvas, form a further element of tension in this painting.
