Original artwork description:

This Oil Pastel on black paper drawing was drawn on a sunny afternoon in Kenting National Park. It is a view of the peak of Da-Jien Mountain that is visible from most areas of Hengchun. As I was fortunate to be staying in Kenting National Park I had the chance draw it from a close up vantage point in the Gloria Manor Hotel. With this picture I wanted to focus on the topography of the slopes and valleys of the mountainside and the subtle variations in the colours of the trees covering it. As I drew the slopes more and more colours revealed themselves that weren’t apparent when I first started. It is quite rare for me not to include the sky in my pictures but as this drawing developed I liked the way the peak and colours of the slopes sat against the raw black paper and decided to keep it that way.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
