Colour blindness is a decreased ability to see colours and the differences between colours. This artwork is meant to be a metaphore of how we sometimes perceive unexactly the world or the situation we are living in, like we have a filter that covers or change details we cannot understand or accept. This "mental blindness" is represented by the eye closed and by the black sections on the woman's dress, painted with Stuart Semple's Black 3.0, the blackest black in the world. The natural elements are the only hint of the context the protagonist is living in.
Acrylic on round canvas.
