This small landscape painting is done on location in Bhopal.
Monsoon is arrived but not in it’s full form. I went for plain air painting and like this plateau close to big lake. Clouds gathering slowly in sky, not raining but quite hot and humid atmosphere. I did in minimalist way to capture the calm yet tense mood of that particular time.
Done in watercolour on archival paper.
Shipped in rolled format with authenticity certificate.
