Original artwork description:

In the wilds of the natural environment it may feel as though everything is chaos and without any order. It is only when man upsets the balance we find that nature is perfectly balanced. I wanted to get to a feeling of that in this painting; - like a patchwork, nature has a completely balanced design and yet not always appearing as though it does at first glance.
Within this painting there is also some printmaking. I have made an etching of a dragon fly and included it as well as lithographs of a pine cone, insects and butterflies.
The painting is painted on the sides in a pale sky blue and is ready to hang.
