Original artwork description:

“Bo Jo The Clown” or as most people know him as Boris Johnson is the Prime Minister of The UK and in my eyes a perfect example of a Politician who puts his own desire for power and money at the expense of the people who voted for him.

I wanted to paint "Bo Jo" in a hyperrealism style and once I completed the painting of the face I started painting the make up and tried to imagine how it would look against the contours of his face so not to dilute the realism of the work. I added the crowns on the jacket and the money on the tie to emphasise that really all this is about power and money.

My portrait style is hyperrealism with a message that silently screams
