This original linden wood wall sculpture is one of the latest artworks of the skillful Bulgarian contemporary sculptor Nikolay Martinov, deeply inspired by neoclassical symmetry, modernistic traditions and Victorian art. The artist's concept is to create an unique fighting dragons scene in an amazing floral nature environment, and dedicate it to world peace and harmony. It is hand carved in solid pieces of linden wood and its elaborate carvings form one extraordinary maze of details. It is one beautiful woodcarving masterpiece and exquisite home wall décor.
Nikolay Martinov’s work encompasses many contemporary art styles with the act of minimal drawing being key to his exploration of form and sculptural composition.
