Artwork description:

In 2016 I spent a year Photographing the areas immediately surrounding every station on the entirety of London's vast underground system. I started on the January 1st 2016 and 430 tube stops later I finished on the 24th December of the same year

The sum of this work is available in a hard bound book published in 2017 - In this series I've selected my favourite photo from each line to offer as a limited edition print

My Docklands Light Railway (or DLR) selection draws elements from the surrealism of Rene Magritte. The lone figure standing before a jigsaw cut-out of a world fills me with a sense of adventure and shows the viewer that the world is never entirely as it seems. This shot depicts reality as a malleable putty which may look solid but upon further inspection there is more subjectivity than one could ever imagine
