Family holidays in Eastbourne on the English south coast, always involved an evening stroll down the promenade. This painting is my memory of those times. Christopher Witchall's paintings capture the light, atmosphere and space of the English coastline.
I'm impressed by the fresh mountain air and bright colours of the Carpathian Mountains! A bright sunny morning in June in a mountain village.
