About VANADA ABSTRACT ART

  • Biography

In high school she attended the courses well known Romanian colorist painter Mihai Bandac, who cultivated her love for colour.
She graduated from the Ion Mincu Institute of Architecture in Bucharest as Master of Architecture and member of the Order of Architects in Romania.
She has made numerous trips to Italy, where she designed and built private residences and holiday homes. She also irresistibly indulged in the gentle sun of Tuscany and its mysterious light that transfigures landscapes, architectural objects and people. In recent years she returned to her first love, painting in oil or acrylic and practicing what she herself calls "architectural painting".
Her works are abstract configurations, rigorously constructed from the architects' obsessive "golden section. Seeing Universe as a pre-existing and immutable structure, being in a state of harmonious celestial equilibrium, she methodically searches for essential and beautiful archetypal watermarks, proposing original cosmological models or creating imaginary geographies. Using richly textured colours, she finds surprising, infallible superstructures that tend to reflect the subtle semiotic of the universe.
Vanada's works has already found place in many private collections in the US and the UK.
