    Originally from Virginia’s Allegheny Mountains, I  currently live and work in Jakarta, Indonesia. Since leaving NYC 7 years ago I have lived in Cairo, Egypt, Nairobi, Kenya and Casablanca and Essaouira, Morocco.  Theses different cultures, nature, landscapes and current events of each country have been the source of my paintings. I attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and the Tyler School of Art, where I received an MFA while living in Rome. Elizabeth has received fellowships from The Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and La Friche Belle du Mai in Marseille, France.
