The artwork is bursting with character, life and colour and brings energy into the room. The artist has a distinctive style and the painting is stunning and eye catching. It is a warmer colour than in the photo. It arrived promptly and was framed and well packaged and there were no additional import taxes to pay.

The painting was well wrapped and the shipping was delayed due to COVID, which I totally understood. The only question I have is, is it normal to have cracks in the paint on each of the big water lilies? I haven’t noticed previous paintings having cracks in the paint. It’s not ‘crazing’, it’s cracks. ?? Thank you in advance for your reply regarding the cracks. Take care, Linda Davis

Dear Linda, Thanks for your positive feedback. Sorry for the delay to answer your question, we were consulting with the artist. First of all, we're sorry that we didn't manage to pay your attention to these parts of the painting earlier. But you shouldn't worry about this, as far they are no cracks in the sense that you mean. It's just the special oil paint ROSA (Ukrainian brand) that gives such effect (craquelure or crazing like you mentioned before, the technique that simulates a crack) and a painter did it to give lilies more visible volume. So it's just an artist's technique. Also, these "cracks" are located only on the white layer of the paint and real cracks should go through all layers of paint. This piece of art has only 5 years and is quite new to have real cracks. By the way, we have in our gallery a few other paintings of this artist with the same effects. We hope this artistic effect won't be a problem. Since the artwork itself is wonderful. If you have any more comments or suggestions, we listen to you carefully.
