Artwork description:

wildflowers just bursting forth now that summer sun has come, full of the buzzing of bees!
A linocut reduction means that I start by cutting away what I want to be white areas, I then roll up in the first color and all prints in the short edition of 5 prints, go through the press, for each print I have to ink up the plate again, I then cut away what I want to remain in that color, print all the prints and so on and on until the last color, all the time cutting away means I am left with the bare bones, which is why linocut reductions are also known as "lost plate". This print is rolled up very freehand, so the prints can vary a bit, I hope you will appreciate this as part of the creative process and why original prints are called original prints, each print rolled up in each color by me.

a Burst of Summer is printed in an edition of 5 prints in this color, and I sign, title and number each print, please note you might not receive the number in the photo.

The heavy weight warm white printmaking paper measures 49 cm x 37 cm (19.25" x 14.5")
and the actual printed area measures 39 cm x 30 cm (15" x 12")

I ship with many years experience in packing my art so it arrives safely, see my over 1000 reviews!
Thanks for looking and welcome back, Mariann
