As an artist, I find inspiration from pretty much everything. I pay attention to what I see, hear, feel, etc—this time an academic marble sculpture Ophelia of Sarah Bernhard made in 1880 captured my attention. By observing this artwork I can't be indifferent to its sensuality and feminine flow and I start to play by adding something of rococo mood details - pastel colors, flower petals, etc. It's a process that is fun and exciting to re-create, changing colors and meaning. Original Shakespeare's Ophelia is going to die, mine is going to be awakening.
