The artwork is part of the Leggy Women series.
I appreciate simple, natural, and bionic forms. However, these forms may not always be fully grasped by viewers, including some fellow artists. That's why I aimed to avoid self-absorption in my art and instead sought to connect with art enthusiasts. Contemplating this situation led me to the realization that the most familiar and relatable aspect for people is the human body. Consequently, I developed a module comprising silhouettes of legs and a head to establish a connection between my art and the audience.
Crafted from ceramic with an ash glaze fired at cone 6, this piece features metal elements made of naturally oxidizing steel. As a result, the work undergoes visual changes over time, living its own unique life.
This specific creation was a collaborative effort with Fedir Bushmanov.
