Original artwork description:

"Confection Two" is part of a large series that utilizes complex color palettes, bold brushwork and dramatic compositions. The series also introduces abstracted organic shapes interlaced with representational imagery. I want to see this group of paintings appear to be textural and contradictory/synergistic with imagery usage and technical approach. I am looking for unusual pairings, building equations and finding answers to create a new type of visual language.

{+} Full signature / date on the back, small "SR" on the front and COA

{+} Fine layer of professional grade archival fixative applied to front of artwork to protect/inhibit UV rays

{+} Confection Two was selected to be in the juried exhibition "Flora 2024" Richmond, VA
